Dutch beer is good!  I drank mostly Wieckse White beer and Anna mostly drank Heineken.
You put a lemon in your Wieckse White beer like you would a Corona.



Holland is also known for their pancakes.  Beer and pancakes for dinner is great!



In addition to traditional pancakes, you can get sandwich style ones.  This one is spinach Brie & cashews.  It's very tasty!



This one was recommended by our waitress and turned out to be our favorite on the trip - apples and bacon with syrup on top!



Of course they're also known for their cheese!  We went to the Alkmaar Cheese Market which is a fully functional modern commercial cheese market modeled after the style of the middle ages.
